Ancient technique,
honest counsel.
Arivyah exists because Vedic astrology deserves better than sun-sign paragraphs and fear-based upsells. It computes charts properly, explains them warmly, and leaves every decision with you.
Swiss Ephemeris and the Lahiri ayanamsa
Jyotisha is a mathematical discipline with a long scholarly lineage. It was never meant to be a twelve-paragraph column or a warning that something terrible arrives unless you buy a stone.
We wanted the technique done properly — real ephemeris data, real divisional charts, real dasha timing — and then explained in language that treats you as an adult capable of hearing a difficulty without being frightened by it.

Four commitments
These are constraints in the product, not aspirations in a mission statement. They're why certain features you might expect are deliberately absent.
The choice stays yours
Arivyah describes patterns and hands the decision back. It will never tell you to marry, leave, quit or wait — that authority isn't ours to take.
No fear as a business model
No death predictions, no manufactured crisis, no remedy sold against an anxiety we created. Difficulty gets named plainly and left workable.
Calculate first, describe second
Every placement comes from ephemeris data before any model speaks. A reading that sounds confident and invents a position is worse than no reading.
Meet people where they are
Conversation happens in your language, including Hinglish. Jargon gets explained rather than deployed to sound authoritative.
What Arivyah is not
A guide is not a professional, and pretending otherwise is where astrology causes real harm. These limits are enforced in the system itself.
Not medical advice
Arivyah will not diagnose, predict illness, or suggest you delay treatment. Health questions belong with a doctor, and it will say so.
Not legal or financial advice
It won't tell you how to invest, litigate or sign. Where a question needs a professional, it points you there instead of improvising.
Not a crisis service
It is not a substitute for mental health care. If you're in distress, it will encourage you toward real support rather than keep you talking.
Arivyah is a guide, not a replacement for professional medical, legal or financial advice. It does not make fear-based predictions and presents astrology as a lens for reflection, not fixed prophecy.
About us
Do you actually believe in astrology?add
We think it's a serious symbolic system worth engaging with honestly, and we're careful not to overclaim. Arivyah presents astrology as a lens for reflection rather than a mechanism of prediction — which is both the more defensible position and, we'd argue, the more useful one.
Who is behind Arivyah?add
A small independent team building it as a self-hosted product rather than a venture-scale astrology app. That's why there's no upsell funnel, no urgency timer, and no remedy store.
Why Vedic rather than Western astrology?add
Depth of technique. The nakshatra system, divisional charts and dasha timing give a much finer instrument than sun signs and transits alone. It's also the tradition we know well enough to implement responsibly.
Is my data used to train models?add
No. Your birth details, charts and conversations are stored against your account so the product works, and they are not sold, shared, or used as training data.
What happens if I want to leave?add
Export your charts and reports as PDFs, delete your conversations, and close your account. Nothing is held hostage.
